CONSISTENCE IS THE KEY!" I'm sure you've heard this affirmation several times already but if you're not yet convinced about it I'd like to briefly share my personal history.
I was a semi-obese kid very bad in sports by any kind and due the fact I was raised in Brazil where soccer is very much popular I used to very often be the last choice between my school mates. As a young teenager I heard a lot of jokes about my bad shape and turning to 13 I decided that it was time for a change so I started to play basketball when my coach taught me how to raise my knees and position my feet to run and jump. Late in the same 13 pushed by that basketball coach I joined a gym to get strength for better play but the owner of that chosen gym was bodybuilder as well as all the other members of that place so instead of simply being introduced to the gym exercising I was immediately introduced to the bodybuilding universe plus since I was the only minor of the gym they took me as their apprentice and going to the gym for me became like going to a very interesting course very much more enjoyable than my school itself. In my first years in the gym I learned a lot about training methods, diet, discipline and focus, 2 years later I was already considered the "muscular boy" when with my friends and my new shape added to the basketball skills led me to be drafted to my first football team experience and started to play as cornerback then got a little bigger and jumped to linebacker, after 5 years playing I decided to dive deeper and started to study properly to be a professional coach, traveling the world seeking for more knowledge and different points-of-view until gt invited to move to Dubai as professional Personal Trainer.
So YES, consistency really is the key! But discipline is the major key to make the consistency possible! So once you start your new journey, please, DO NOT STOP!
